Our Impact

The cast of Broadway Workshop/Project Broadway's Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat takes a bow.

Each year, in collaboration with organizations such as Hunts Point Alliance for Children, St. Hope Academy, Brooklyn Children’s Theater and The Pleasantville Cottage School, Project Broadway provides free theater arts experiences and scholarships to more than 200 students from underserved communities—including those facing economic hardship or recovering from trauma or loss.

Research shows that children involved in arts programs develop a stronger sense of self, engage in fewer at-risk behaviors, and perform better academically. Guided by this understanding, Project Broadway’s Community Arts Partnership Program continues to expand meaningful access to the arts through three main tiers:

  1. Free Theater Arts Programming
Workshops, theater intensives, and interactive sessions with Broadway professionals designed to spark creativity and build confidence.
  2. Student Scholarships
Select participants receive scholarships to continue their arts education through our partner organization, Broadway Workshop, and other affiliated programs.
  3. Grants and Scholarships for Community Organizations
We support nonprofits whose missions align with ours, helping them expand access to arts education within their own communities.

Through this multi-tiered approach, Project Broadway is creating lasting, measurable impact—fostering equity, confidence, and opportunity through arts education.

Together, we’re proving that when children are given access to the arts, they discover their voice, their confidence, and their limitless potential.
