Staff
Tabitha Matthews is a passionate arts leader, educator, and producer dedicated to creating opportunities for young artists to discover their voice and thrive through the performing arts. With over 20 years of experience in theater education, production, and community engagement, she has built a career rooted in access, inclusion, and artistic excellence.
As Administrative & Program Director at Project Broadway, Tabitha leads the organization’s community partnerships and arts training programs. She has helped expand Project Broadway’s impact through free school workshops for youth, creative programs serving artistically underserved communities, and full-tuition scholarships that open doors for young performers.
Before joining Project Broadway, Tabitha served as Director of Community Engagement at Trinity Christian College and as Artistic Director of GoodLight Productions LLC, where she directed and produced original works centered on empowerment and cultural storytelling. Her teaching and leadership have spanned classrooms, college campuses, and community organizations across Chicago and New York City.
